Augmented reality is still often utilized in many different industries. You can watch its usage at an exhibition at a fair ground in following video.
 

 
If exhibiting company decides to promote their products, which are very sizeable or their physical exhibiting is not possible, then can be AR very useful solution. You can raise an objection that it could be sufficient to show classical video on a screen or on a projective screen. But in this case, you can't use one big advantage - interactivity. The key for costumer's captivation is to call his attention and its keeping. If you are able to join a visitor of the exhibition directly into promotion of a product, give him the possibility to study the product and to look at it with the way, which he will choose, then you will multiple raise your chances.
